Since 2002, ImagineSolar has been accelerating the growth of clean energy through interactive workshops, classroom and online courses, workforce training, corporate advising and employer outreach.
We are the first licensed solar and smart grid school in Texas, and we offer over 200 hours of courses and workshops as well as project consulting, workforce training and custom courses for corporate clients. Our clients include commercial accounts, engineering companies, contractors, project developers, new ventures, utilities, investors, government agencies (all levels), schools and non-profits, as well as individuals who want to build their careers in the solar and smart grid industries.
ImagineSolar has been awarded IREC’s (Interstate Renewable Energy Council) ISPQ Continuing Education Provider Accreditation and is an approved NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) proctor for the NABCEP Entry Level Exam as well as the Alternative Installation Experience Pathway for electricians. By far the most interesting part of the class were the hands on exercises. It was great to learn how to set up and read a solar pathfinder. Especially since this was one of the hardest parts of the course. Studying the behaviors of the modules and how their power output varies from just the short time we were outside with them was also very helpful.
