PV201: Solar PV System Design and Installation

PV100 Series: Solar PV Fundamentals

(This Course was formerly known as our PV100 Bundle Series)

PV201: Solar PV Systems Design and Installation is a 48 hour course on designing and installing solar photovoltaic systems. This course provides an excellent understanding of solar photovoltaic design and installation, for grid-connected and off-grid projects.

In your 48 hours, you will explore system design and installation, commissioning, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance issues, solar resource fundamentals, site assessment, system sizing, design and electrical integration troubleshooting and maintenance.

Includes 16 hours of hands-on labs with full-scale PV system components.

After completing PV201, participants are eligible to take NABCEP‘s Entry Level Exam.  Before taking this exam, ImagineSolar and NABCEP recommend 80-120 extra hours of self-study or solar PV classes to further your understanding of solar energy. When you feel that you’re ready, click here to purchase and learn more about the exam.

"I didn't think solar was as 'involved' as it is. However the instructors were assuring and confident in their presentations and labs. I am convinced [I am] on top of my game, and my involvement in this class made it easier and more digestible. Thanks."–PV Student
