The American Solar Energy Society’s (ASES) magazine Solar Today just published their Jan/Feb issue online with an article that speaks to the value of a quality Solar PV Training program. The author Seth Masia chronicles his experience with Solar Energy International’s course in Paonia, Colorado. Especially worth noting is the “Where are they now” section on page 34. It lists out how several of the participants have changed careers and landed new positions after taking the course.
SEI’s course is considered one of the best and has a long waiting list. It’s also very similar to ImagineSolar’s workshops with a mixture of classroom/online exercises and extensive hands-on experience. ImagineSolar is proud to be included in Solar Today‘s short list of “best-known, long-established solar training programs” shown on the second page of the article.
