March PV System Design and Installation Workshop

Monday, March 23rd, 2009

For the March PV System Design and Installation Workshop we had a full week of beautiful sunny spring Texas weather.  From within Texas we had clients from Round Rock, Austin, San Antonio, Midland, Spicewood, McKinney, Waco, Odessa, Leander, Pflugerville, Dripping Springs, & Corpus Christi.  From outside of Texas we had clients from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Fredericktown, Ohio.  Some of our out-of-town clients got the added benefit of being able to participate in the SXSW music festival after the conclusion of the workshop.

Here’s what our clients have to say:

“I had studied PV quite a bit before this workshop. However, I learned so much more in one week that I will gain the cost of the workshop back in a very short time as I ramp my business into solar”.  -Ernest Hill, Odessa, Texas

“I got what I wanted – a crash course in the nuts and bolts of solar energy and a good look at the state of the industry in Texas and the rest of the world. I made some good networking contacts as well.” -Gordon Gunn, Austin, Texas

94% of the attendees elected to take the NABCEP entry level exam at the conclusion of the workshop. We had an 82% pass rate – the national average pass rate has been approximately 60%.

Congratulations to our graduates of the workshop and good luck with your careers in the solar industry.
